Background
This is a case study on developing an indoor lighting communication board. The communication board is designed to receive critical signals and transmit them via BLE to a smartphone. The customer lacked the expertise in designing and developing embedded hardware and sought a company to handle the entire development process, from circuit design to PCB implementation, which led them to contact us.

Outcomes
Development and assembly of indoor lighting communication board units. In digital circuitry and PCB design, we implement low-power measures and pursue miniaturization. Additionally, to minimize production costs for the PCBs as requested by our clients, we consider single-sided mounting possibilities during product design. During installation, we not only handle PCB assembly but also design and create inspection fixtures and perform inspections on the boards. Initially, due to procurement issues, the BLE module we planned to use had a smaller ROM capacity within the same series, forcing us to compress program size. However, by minimizing the components used during debugging, we successfully kept it within the capacity limits.
