Project Background

This is a case study on developing a system that monitors meter detection data and provides real-time water quality information for various service points. In this case study, we got involved from the planning stage, handling consultation, planning, and requirement definition. Additionally, we developed the entire system, covering aspects such as hardware design (like circuit and circuit board design), embedded software development, web applications, server construction, and IoT device development.

Project outcomes

Water quality information is transmitted to the cloud via 4G from LoRaWAN gateway devices and can be monitored through a PC browser. When water quality data exceeds a certain threshold, the monitoring device sends real-time information to the server through a communication module. Water quality data such as pH levels and conductivity are sent periodically to the LoRaWAN gateway via LoRa.

The information of water quality equipment can be monitored through a web browser. We also designed interfaces from water quality devices to servers, developed cloud servers, monitoring network applications, and firmware. This is one of our advantages, effectively avoiding increased costs and extended delivery cycles due to outsourcing.
